The Food Shed

Is open weekdays strictly 2pm - 3pm.

In partnership with SecondBite, Coles and Rotary Nth Devonport and with produce from our Community Garden we are able to provide bread and fresh produce to our local community.  Cooked meals from produce that would normally be wasted is available to those that find themselves in difficult circumstances, for whatever reason. (when available)

Local volunteers offer their time and help to serve customers every day; we ask for a small donation towards fresh produce, and this is put back into helping run the shed; providing our volunteers with training and the occasional celebration!

If you want to help out, with donating produce or helping in the shed, please talk to office staff.

Book clubs

Various adults and children's books are available for purchase at reduced prices. Ideal for gifts and treating your family and friends. Order, pay and collect your purchase from the House or The Playhouse.
